Prerequisite: None. This course provides instruction in the basic safety considerations and procedures for use when immediate and unplanned backfiring or burning out is deemed necessary. The emphasis is directed toward initial attack incidents. The course is an awareness level course (module 1) and is not designed to qualify students as Firing Technical Specialists. 8 hours lecture.
