UC, CSU ( FRE 3+4= CAN SEQ B) (CAN FREN 8) Prerequisite: FRE-2. Development of intermediate skills in listening, reading, speaking and writing. A continued emphasis on the acquisition of vocabulary, structures and grammatical patterns necessary for comprehension of standard spoken and written French at the intermediate level. This course includes an expanded discussion of French culture and daily life. 90 hours lecture and 18 hours laboratory.
