CSU Prerequisite: None. Provides a review of applied mathematics and hydraulic principles as they relate to fire service applications. Hydraulic formulas will be utilized and mental calculations required. Engine pressure, hose appliances, friction loss and nozzle pressure will be discussed. Adopted from the National Fire Academy Model Fire Science Associate Degree Curriculum. 54 hours lecture.
