Prerequisite: None. Advisory: FIT-C20, C30 and C40 recommended. This course delivers the information needed for functioning as a Public Information Officer in an emergency incident. After completing this course the student will be able to represent an emergency response agency to the media and the public. The course will cover public relations, dealing with the media and the issuing of press releases. 24 hours lecture and 8 hours laboratory.
