ESL 52 - Low- intermediate Writing and Grammar

Prerequisite: Qualifying score on a state-approved placement instrument, or successful completion of ESL-51. Develops competency in standard written English with a continued focus on basic writing and grammar skills. Instruction includes vocabulary and reading skills necessary for success in low-intermediate English as a Second Language courses. Subsequent enrollment in an additional semester will provide the student with an opportunity for continued skills and competency development within the level and subject matter. May be taken two times. 72 hours lecture and 18 hours laboratory. (Non-degree credit course. Pass/No Pass only.)
