Prerequisite: None. Limitation on enrollment: Acceptance into the RCC Paramedic Program and concurrent enrollment in EMS-61, 62, and 63. Enables Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to refine their skills and develop to the level of a paramedic; concentrates on patient assessment and airway management techniques needed in dealing with sick and injured patients; integral component of the first semester of the RCC Paramedic Program. 62 hours lecture and 64 hours laboratory.
