Prerequisite: None. Limitation on enrollment: Acceptance into the RCC Paramedic Program and concurrent enrollment in EMS-60, 62, and 63. Enables Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to expand their understanding of disease and injury processes; integral component of the first semester of the RCC Paramedic Program; reviews anatomy and physiology; introduces pathophysiology to assist the paramedic student in understanding disease and trauma processes. 62 hours lecture.
