Prerequisite: None. Limitation on enrollment: Acceptance into the RCC Paramedic Program and concurrent enrollment in EMS-60, 61, and 63. Enables Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to refine their pharmacology skills; integral component of the first semester of the RCC Paramedic Program; prepares paramedic students to deal with basic pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics including calculation and administration of prehospital medications. 54 hours lecture and 64 hours laboratory.
