CSU Prerequisite: None. Corequisite: DEH-40, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46. Limitation on enrollment: Enrollment in the Dental Hygiene Program. This course is designed to meet the state and national accreditation requirements for an approved Dental Hygiene Program. The students are exposed to the continuation of clinical dental hygiene issues that will be implemented in the clinical setting. The course focuses on clinical issues and experiences of the students. Emphasis is on developing critical thinking skills when implementing dental hygiene treatment plans. The development of the dental hygiene portfolio will be completed in this course. 18 hours lecture.
