CSU Prerequisite: None. Corequisite: DEH-40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45. Limitation on enrollment: Enrollment in the Dental Hygiene Program. This course is designed to meet the state and national accreditation requirements for an approved Dental Hygiene Program. This course examines advanced topics in the field of dental hygiene to prepare students to transition into the private practice arena. Students will discuss how to integrate topics into their clinical practices. Latest clinical duties approved by the Dental Board of California will be discussed. 18 hours lecture.
