Prerequisite: DEA-20 and 21. Limitation on enrollment: Enrollment in the Dental Assistant Program. This course is designed to meet the state and national accreditation requirements for an approved Dental Assistant Program. This course includes the evaluation of the quality of a radiographic film, recognition of anomalies, specialized techniques for the pedodontic, endodontic and edentulous patient, principles of panoramic and cephalometric films, and digital radiography. 18 hours lecture and 36 hours laboratory.
