CSU Prerequisite: None. Corequisite: DEH-30A, 31, 32, 33, 35, 36, 37. Limitation on enrollment: Enrollment in the Dental Hygiene Program. This course is designed to meet the state and national accreditation requirements for an approved Dental Hygiene Program. The student is introduced to a continuation of dental health education as it relates to evidenced-based decision-making skills in community settings. Emphasis is placed on the role of the dental health educator. 18 hours lecture.
