CSU Prerequisite: None. Corequisites: DEH-20A, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 28. Limitation on enrollment: Enrollment in the Dental Hygiene Program. This course is designed to meet the state and national accreditation requirements for an approved Dental Hygiene Program. This course provides the student with an introduction to pathologic conditions that directly or indirectly affect the oral cavity and adjacent structures. Students will learn a spectrum of signs and symptoms accompanied by clinical slides to learn how to correctly make a differential diagnosis. 54 hours lecture.
