CSU Prerequisite: None. Corequisite: DEH-30A, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36. Limitation on enrollment: Enrollment in the Dental Hygiene Program. This course is designed to meet the state and national accreditation requirements for an approved Dental Hygiene Program. This course is designed to introduce the student to nutritional principles as they related to overall health of the patient with special emphasis on the nutrition as it relates to oral health. 18 hours lecture.
