CSU Prerequisite: None. Corequisite: DEH-20A, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28. Limitation on enrollment: Enrollment in the Dental Hygiene Program. This course is designed to meet the state and national accreditation requirements for an approved Dental Hygiene Program. The students are exposed to the continuation of clinical dental hygiene issues that will be implemented in the clinical setting. This course focuses on clinical issues and experiences of the students. Emphasis will be placed on communication, clinical protocols, chart management, and patient management and assessment issues. The dental hygiene portfolio will be introduced. 18 hours lecture.
