Prerequisite: DEA-20, 22, 24. Limitation on enrollment: Enrollment in the Dental Assistant Program. This course is designed to meet the state and national accreditation requirements for an approved Dental Assistant Program. The course provides the student with supervised clinical experience in chairside dental assisting. The student will be assigned to local general practices where they will assist dentists with basic dental procedures. 2 hours lecture and 36 hours laboratory.
