Prerequisite: None. Limitation on enrollment: Enrollment in the Dental Assistant Program. This course is designed to meet the state and national accreditation requirements for an approved Dental Assistant Program. The course includes the manipulation of dental materials commonly prepared and used by the dental assistant including temporary dressings, impression materials, cement bases and liners, topical agents, composites, resins, and amalgam. 18 hours lecture and 54 hours laboratory.
