Prerequisite: None. Course provides students with basics of glass block, refractory masonry, structural glazed tile, repair and restoration, panel construction, brick paving, and welding. Lecture and laboratory hours teach students fundamentals and provide the opportunity for skill development. The course prepares students for entry-level positions in the field of masonry, in addition to serving as related instruction for the requirements of the Division of Apprenticeship Standards. May be taken a total of three times. 18 hours lecture and 54 hours laboratory.
