CSU Prerequisite: CIS-26B. This course introduces students to configure IPX access lists, LAN segmentation using bridges, using routers, using switches, half-duplex Ethernet operations, network segmentation, dynamic routing, and the network administrator's role and function. Students will learn to configure the CISCO IOS software and configurations required for specific routing protocols. This course is one of four Cisco-related curricula designed to prepare students for Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification examination. 72 hours lecture.
