CSU Prerequisite: CIS-26A. This course introduces students to routing concepts of LANs, WANs, Ethernet, Token Ring, Fiber Distributed Data Interface, TCP/IP, dynamic routing and network administrator's role and function. Students will learn to configure the CISCO IOS software and configurations required for specific routing protocols. This course is one of four Cisco-related curricula designed to prepare students for Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification examination. 72 hours lecture.
