Prerequisite: None. Advisory: Competency in the use of a computer and familiarity with the Internet. Concurrent enrollment in CAT-96 or 97. This course provides students with the knowledge and skills required to create, modify and prepare visual elements for placement within web pages. Focus on the understanding of file compression, color palettes, visual design and layout principles. The course uses Adobe PhotoShop and ImageReady. 54 hours lecture and 18 hours laboratory.
