CSU Prerequisite: None. Advisory: ART-17 (or 4A), 22 or 39. Introduction to the fundamental concepts and imagery used for advertising and graphic illustration. Exploration of visual communication and commercial art techniques in graphic media, such as ink, airbrush, gouache and markers. Students pay for their own materials. 36 hours lecture and 72 hours laboratory.
