Prerequisite: AUT-91. This course covers compressed natural gas as a vehicular fuel. Students will be taught the proper method to maintain, diagnose and repair dedicated and bi-fuel compressed natural gas vehicles. Safe work practices during maintenance, diagnosis and repair of compressed natural gas vehicles will also be covered. Students will have lab sessions to practice maintenance, diagnosis and repair of compressed natural gas vehicles. The inspection and certification process for compressed natural gas fuel tanks will be covered. May be taken a total of two times. 18 hours lecture and 27 hours laboratory.
