Prerequisite: ADJ-bib. This course provides a collision investigator with basic information and skills necessary to conduct a mechanical systems inspection of a vehicle involved in a collision. The course covers how to conduct a complete motor vehicle inspection, from headlamps to exhaust system, in order to determine if any of the vehicle systems caused or contributed to the outcome of the incident. 32 hours lecture and 8 hours laboratory.
