Prerequisite: None. This course provides students with instruction and procedures for inspecting hazardous materials shipments in accordance with hazardous materials regulations. Topics covered will include initiating hazardous material inspections, checking proper shipping papers, placarding, marking, labeling, packaging, loading and storage, conducting facility inspections, and documenting inspections. 36 hours lecture and 4 hours laboratory.
