Prerequisite: None. Limitation on enrollment: Must be a sworn peace officer. This course provides students with a basic understanding of the growing phenomenon of rave parties. Students will be introduced to history and culture of the rave, its social impact, proper considerations when providing law enforcement at rave events, and an overview of drugs that are commonly found at rave parties. 8 hours lecture.
