Prerequisite: None. Limitation on enrollment: Must be a sworn peace officer. This course is designed to provide updated skills training for law enforcement officers enforcing the provisions of 11550 H & S code. The course fulfills the Commission on POST two year, twenty-four hour training requirement for advanced officer training. The course will emphasize public safety when handling incidents involving explosive devices. 20 hours lecture and 4 hours laboratory.
