Prerequisite: None. This is an introductory course into the career ladder of Private Security. This course will serve as the entry point for understanding this career field, as unique from traditional law enforcement services, e.g., police officer, deputy sheriff. The students will focus on the provision of security services for the private sector and the business world by satisfying the customer through the provision of myriad services at the security officer, supervisor and manager/administrator level. 54 hours lecture.
