Introduction to computers with medical application as it relates to the radiology department. Discussion and application include: types of computers, basic components of a computer system, programming languages and applications of computers. Students have actual hands-on experience with various types of software programs such as word processing, database and electronic spreadsheets. Class hrs. 3/week for 5 weeks. Prerequisite: acceptance to Radiologic Technology Curriculum. Offered summer semester at discretion of Radiologic Technology Program.
