This course focuses on the integration of software and hardware to produce manufactured products. Students are required to prepare programs in this class utilizing CAD/CAM software and the subsequent production of the part on a CNC machine. A study of related technology includes safety, proper cutting tool selection, speeds, and feed rates. Class hrs. 2; Lab hrs. 2. Prerequisites: MECH 144 Manufacturing I and MECH 260B CAD I, or permission of instructor.
