The course deals with design and strength of the machine parts and the appropriate formulas used to determine critical dimensions. Laboratory work covers graphical solutions to kinematic problems. Class hrs. 2; Lab hrs. 2. Prerequisites: MATH 110A College Algebra with Trig, PHYSC 107 Tech. Physics I, MECH 113 Engineering Drawing I, and MECH 260B CAD I. Offered spring semester.
