The study of motion, velocity, and the acceleration of basic machine components. The course deals with design and strength of the machine parts and the appropriate formulas used to determine critical dimensions. Laboratory work covers graphical solutions to kinematic problems. Class hrs. 2; Lab hrs. 2. Prerequisites: MATH 110A College Algebra with Trig, PHYSC 107 Tech. Physics I, MECH 113 Engineering Drawing I, and MECH 260B CAD I. Offered spring semester.
