This course covers the principles, equipment and methods used to perform the site layout tasks that require angular measurements. These tasks include laying out building foundation lines and determining elevations by trigonometric leveling. The use of laser instruments, transits, electronic distance measurements and total stations is covered. Advanced floor systems, an introduction to light construction equipment, metal buildings and project management skills are also covered. Prerequisite: CAR 2003
