This course enables the student to learn the electrophysiology of the heart, including electrocardiographic techniques and wave form measurements. This course provides indepth EKG interpretation including infarction patterns, axis determination and recording techniques. Stress testing, Holter monitoring, graded exercise testing, arrhythmia detection, pacemaker evaluation and telemetry are discussed along with electrical safety and hazards. Clinical experience will be completed in cardiology settings. Pre-requisites: BIO 211, CVT 101, MAT 140, MED 105 Co-requisites: BIO 212, INF 101
