This course emphasizes each of the four modes of expression (speaking/writing) and comprehension (listening/reading). The course is designed for students with no Spanish experience. Native Spanish speakers and students with successful completion of two or more years of Spanish (within past 5 years) cannot receive credit for this course. Course is multi-media within the classroom, and a language lab is available to supplement individual/group learning.
