Prerequisite: Audition with Director. Enrollment may be limited to required instrumentation. Study and performance of jazz literature, public appearances, training in improvisation and interpretation of jazz from traditional styles to contemporary jazz-rock and fusion. Jazz Ensemble may be taken for credit a total of four semesters.
