Prerequisite or Corequisite: FREN 202 - Intermediate French II or placement test. French attitudes and behavior today will be related to the structure of French history. French attitudes toward the physical environment, time, their country, work, and human nature will be discussed. In addition to studying literary and historical sources, students will examine textbooks used by French children, French comic strips, magazines, and films.
