The course is designed to provide an under-standing of the social system in organizations. To be studied and understood are the rela-tionship of individual and group behavior pat-terns to organizational structure and task re-quirements, the role of the individual, and the human factors confronting the manager labor-ing to establish the necessary environment and motivation for the appropriate function-ing of the organization.
