Prerequisite: Placement test score within the designated range or successful completion of ESLS 036 - Academic English Grammar IV. This course is the final grammar course in the ESL series and focuses on the advanced grammar structures needed to succeed in academic content courses in college with a particular emphasis on the skills needed for clear academic writing. As in ESLS 036, there will be an emphasis in the completion of real academic tasks with effective grammar. Credit for this course does not apply to credit hours earned, grade point average, or graduation requirements.
