Dance Appreciation enables students to develop an awareness of movement as an artistic medium and provides a frame of reference from which to view and appreciate dance and dance performances. The course asks the question, "What is Dance?" and "What do we see when we view dance?" The course seeks answers which will help the student gain an understanding and enjoyment of dance. Students will be required to view a live dance performance.
