Prerequisite: CISY 132 - Systems Analysis and Design. This course will provide the student with an overview of basic types of commercially offered data base systems. It will cover the objectives associated with good database design. The student will have the opportunity to implement a functioning data base system using a relational data base. This course will stress the practical aspects of data base design, implementation and maintenance.
