This course helps to enhance a student's analytical skills, while reinforcing basic principles of arithmetic. In doing so, the student will develop a solid foundation and apply their knowledge to problem solving techniques in disciplines most common to the business environment. Areas of study include review of decimals, equations, percentages, discounts and pricing, simple and compound interest, inventory, depreciation, installment buying and business statistics.
