Prerequisites: MUSI 234, 235, admission to the School of Education, and junior standing. Methods, materials, and procedures for teaching general music in the elementary school with emphasis on children’s musical development and its effect on course content in grades K-8. Teaching strategies will be observed and practiced in clinical settings (minimum 14 hours in-school practica).
