Description:
Prerequisite: KINE 392. Corequisites: KINE 300 and KINE 391. The focus of this course will be on the clinical application of therapeutic modalities, concepts related to their use and effectiveness, and their role in the healing process. Students will obtain in-depth knowledge of the healing process and the physiological events that occur following injury. The two-hour lab experience will emphasize proper application of therapeutic modalities in a clinical setting, including appropriate parameters, patient set-up, and indications/contraindications for use. This course and lab cannot be challenged. (Laboratory fee required)
