Prerequisites: Declared History major and HIST 111 or 112, HIST 113, 211 and 212. This course provides history majors with the theoretical and practical foundations for further in-depth historical study. To that end, it combines a survey of trends in Western historical thought with an extensive individual research project. This course is a graduation requirement for all history majors.
