Prerequisite: BIOL 220. A study of the interrelationships among organisms, the environment, and man. The course develops an understanding of the history of diseases, their signs, symptoms, and prevention. It provides a working knowledge of the terms morbidity, mortality, acute disease, and chronic disease. Basic data are presented concerning the application of demographics, community health care, and the epidemiologic study of the casual factors of disease. This course cannot be challenged.
