3 Credits This Honors colloquium will examine special topics in the field of health education and their relevance across disciplinary perspectives. The issues to be addressed in each colloquium will vary from semester to semester. These courses are designed for students in the Honors Program but are open to others with the approval of the Honors Coordinator or the instructor. Prerequisites: Reading proficiency and permission of instructor/coordinator. Formerly Health Information Technology (HIT). All course numbers remain the same. Students who have completed an HIT course may not receive credit again for that course under the HIM designator. HIM courses are offered once per year in the fall or spring except for HIM 1530 which is offered every semester. A grade of C or higher must be maintained in all core program and required science courses. Program prerequisites require a C or higher.
