3 Credits E Second semester composition. Students develop and sharpen critical thinking and writing skills, applying them to materials from business and the professions with an emphasis on evidence-based analysis, evaluation, interpretation and persuasive presentation. EGL 1020, EGL 1100 or EGL 1340 also will fulfill the Composition II requirement. Prerequisite: EGL 1010 with a grade of C or higher.
