3 Credits A comparative analysis of African and black communities around the globe, with emphasis on the United States South, the Caribbean, Central and South America. Attention will be given to the awakening sense of political interrelatedness that undergirds contemporary Pan-African movements, collaborative struggle against oppression and the renewal of traditional African culture and values in Diaspora.
