An overview of the health care institution and patient care methods and techniques including the psychology of the ill patient, aseptic and precaution techniques, management of the seriously ill patient, basic first aid procedures and pertinent aspects related to the sonography department. Open to Diagnostic Medical Sonography degree students only. Prerequisite: Placement above 74 on the CPT reading placement test.
