Familial relationships throughout the life span are explored within the context of the following topics: sex roles and power within the family, choice of partners, marriage, alternative life styles, parenting, domestic violence, divorce, remarriage. Prerequisite: SOC 101 (SO 6101) Recommendation: ENG 075 (EN 2122) or ENG 085 (EN 2131) if score is between 68 and 75 on the CPT reading placement test General Education Elective: Behavioral Science
